Tim Bulman

Tim is a Managing Director in Metro DC and leads business transformation programs to improve performance at global and mid-market enterprises. He teams with our TC practice to deliver business-led, technology enabled solutions based on leading practices and technologies. In addition to his business transformation work, Tim is helping expand our FP&A offerings, leads our MBS practice for Metro-DC, and serves as a Corporate Treasury SMA. Tim has been shaping and leading transformation programs from ideation through execution at leading companies for over 20 years, helping them save billions of dollars, grow revenue, enter new markets, and acquire and divest operations. 

Tim has led engagements across various industries including, CPG, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals. High Tech & Manufacturing. 

Prior to consulting, Tim led the financial reporting and analysis function for a Global 500 company and served as an external auditor.

Major Projects

Business/Finance Transformation

Led effort to transform client’s finance and supply chain function from strategy through execution leading to over $600MM in recurring benefits.  Scope included all finance (RTR, OTC, PTP, FP&A, Treasury) and supply chain functions (Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing)

Business Intelligence and Reporting

Teamed with senior executive team to define key management reporting metrics and develop a dashboarding and reporting strategy.  Subsequently led effort to design and enable leading reporting solution based on key performance metrics

Mergers and Acquisitions

Developed post-merger and divestiture playbook and assist client with executing multiple transactions

Financial Planning and Analysis

Led effort to redesign client’s FP&A function including process design, operating model, and design and implementation of new FP&A technology platform

Spin/Off and IPO

Led effort to execute spin-off and subsequent IPO strategy for major utility
